Growing and Maintenance Tips for Desert Rose

Desert rose is a sun loving plant, it should be grown in one of the brightest spot you have for normal growth and optimal flowering.  You can fertilize desert rose in spring and summer with a general-purpose fertilizer.  This plant, additionally, tolerates low-water conditions so water regularly but do not allow soil to become waterlogged.  During colder seasons, withhold water and let the plant rest for 3–4 months. The leaves and flowers will drop, but that is part of their natural cycle and will recover.
